Welcome to the Department of Work, Skills and Welfare (AKV)
We are now looking for a social worker with a focus on self-sufficiency.
Based on the BIP model, we ensure a holistic perspective where the individual's entire life situation is taken into account, progress is monitored over time, and the client's participation is strengthened through structured and motivating work. In this role, it is important to have a respectful and professional approach as we meet people in vulnerable situations. We work to meet individuals where they are in order to support them on the fastest path to self-sufficiency.
Our core mission is to provide support and assistance to help people become self-sufficient and live independent lives. This includes providing support, help, and services to children, youth, and adults through investigations and interventions, as well as working towards adult learning.
Your position will belong to the Unit for Labor Market, Integration, and Financial Assistance within the Self-Sufficiency process. The unit consists of caseworkers focusing on financial assistance, social workers focusing on the path to self-sufficiency, and service providers. To work more effectively with each client towards achieving self-sufficiency, we are streamlining the processes surrounding the handling of financial assistance through increased digitalization.
Given the ongoing change work within the unit, we value different perspectives and hope that you are open to contributing to the ongoing development work.
It is important to us that you feel comfortable in our team; we place great emphasis on understanding that we are each other's work environment.
